Review and programming of supported hearing aids according to the audiogram and everyday listening requirements.
Hearing assessment for children
Comprehensive child hearing assessment
Audiology consultation, impedance/tympanometry, OAE and ABR/KSVP. The exact test sequence is selected according to age and indication.
Extended child assessment with ASSR
Objective assessment package including ASSR where a more frequency-specific electrophysiological estimate is required.
Natural-sleep hearing assessment at home
Home visit for selected paediatric objective hearing tests during natural sleep, including ABR/KSVP and ASSR when indicated.
Individual audiology tests
Pure-tone threshold audiometry
Behavioural measurement of hearing thresholds across test frequencies and preparation of an audiogram.
Tympanometry
Objective assessment of middle-ear pressure and tympanic-membrane mobility.
Tympanometry + acoustic reflexes
Immittance assessment with recording of acoustic/stapedial reflexes where clinically indicated.
Otoacoustic emissions (OAE)
Objective measurement used to assess cochlear outer-hair-cell response. Does not require a behavioural response from the patient.
Eustachian-tube function assessment
Assessment used when middle-ear ventilation or Eustachian-tube dysfunction is part of the clinical question.
ABR / KSVP screening protocol
Electrophysiological recording of auditory pathway responses for objective hearing assessment.
Extended ABR / KSVP protocol
Extended electrophysiological assessment according to the clinic protocol, including additional high-frequency components.
